Robbi Dunham, Phyllis
Foster and Liz Lynch formed Across America Med
Staffing, Inc. in October of 2001 to create a
familty oriented environment for travel nurses
that would encourage their longevity in the
profession. Nursing is the cornerstone
of
society.
We believe that the
travel nursing niche provides us the opportunity
to add variety, freedom and access to multiple
nationwide job opportunities.
This enables us to give back to nurses the
care that they so selflessly give to
others.

Foster
Chief Executive Officer,
President Client Services
Phyllis brings 31
years of business management experience to Across
America Med Staffing, Inc. Many of those years
were spent at a Northern California nurse staffing
agency. She served in various positions from 1988
through 1995 which included Branch Manager of the
San Francisco Office. Upon her promotion to
Regional Vice President of Operations in 1996 she
was responsible for over 100 client hospitals in
Northern California, which included 500 nurses and
the continuous care of 200 patients in the JCAHO
certified Home Care Division. During this period,
Phyllis created several key systems and developed
a team-oriented culture that aided the company’s
tremendous growth. In 1996, she started the
company’s National Travel Nurse Division, which
was very successful. In 2001, her vision of a
company built on personalized one to one service
was realized in the formation of Across America
Med Staffing. She believes that the foundation of
any strong company must include personal
relationship, open communication and integrity.

Liz
Lynch
Chief Financial
Officer
After 5 years working for a
nurse's registry in San Francisco, Liz envisioned
a concept for her own agency, which she co-founded
in 1979. As one of the company's principals, she
was responsible for many aspects including
developing the services and business plan,
training management staff, hiring nurses,
marketing, accounting, etc. From 1986 through
1996, Liz's responsibilities included duties
relative to Chief Financial Officer, as well as
Chief Operations Officer. During this period, she
oversaw development and implementation of a
state-of-the-art computerized staffing and
accounting system. In 1996, she sold her shares in
the agency and opened a relocation company in
Southern California. In 2001, Liz supported
Phyllis, Robbi and Millie to come together and
form Across America Med Staffing. She is pleased
to be back in the health care industry working
with long-time friends and business associates.

Robbi Dunham
President Clinical
Services
Robbi has over 30 years of
combined bedside nursing and administrative
management experience in the health care industry.
In 1973 she received her Diploma of Nursing from
St. Vincents College of Nursing in Los Angeles.
Shortly thereafter, she began her nursing career
as a member of the Army Nurse Corps while working
in Maryland and South Korea. She worked in
conjunction with the Saudi Arabia government to
establish the emergency department at King
Abdul-Aziz Hospital. Upon leaving the Army, Robbi
worked in a staff posititon for a couple of years
and then decided to return to school. She received
her BSN from Cal State Fullerton in 1978. After
relocating to San Francisco in 1984, Robbi joined
a major Northern California nurse staffing agency.
In her 18 years at that agency, Robbi held
numerous positions, from field nurse to Director
of Clinical Services, which included the Acute and
Home Care Divisions. She was instrumental in the
acquisition of JCAHO certification for their home
care division. In 1999, she changed her focus to
the Travel Nurse Division, where she was
specifically responsible for hiring, counseling,
clinical support, quality assurance and the
supervising of contract compliance. Robbi joined
Across America Med Staffing in 2001 as a principal
and her experience is fundamental to all aspects
of clinical services.
