An AAMS
Recruiter will answer any questions you may
have, review our benefit package, explain our
application process and generally assist you
in joining our
team. 2.
Completing The Hiring
Process
After review of your
application, your recruiter will setup an
interview with one of our clinical nurse managers.
The benefit of this interview is that we can more
accurately match your clinical expertise with our
client job opportunities. Upon completion of the
hiring process you will be an official member of
the Across America Med Staffing Team!
3.
Select
a Destination
Are you drawn to
a major metro area
or a small town? Maybe it is
mountains or beaches you seek? The West
Coast or the East Coast? Do you want to stay close
to home or travel thousands
miles away? Based on the destination you choose,
your recruiter will discuss the features,
advantages and benefits for each assignment
in your selected region.
4.
The
Hospital Submission and
Interview
Your profile will be
submitted to the unit and facility you choose. You
will receive a telephone interview from the nurse
manager of that unit. During this interview,
skill mix, equipment, patient ratios and
scheduling are discussed to determine mutual
compatibility.
Your recruiter will help you prepare
for the interview, giving you the best opportunity
to receive a job offer.
5.
Accept The Assignment
Congratulations, you've
accepted an assignment! Now Across America
will assist you with your QA
documents and license requirements for that
facility and state.
Your
custom employment package is
assembled. We finalize
arrangements for your Free Deluxe Private
Housing which includes utilities. At Across
America we are pet friendly.
The
housing and employment contracts will be sent to
you by overnight mail.
6.
Your Adventure Begins!
Your recruiter will
provide you with orientation information for your
new assignment. We support you in your adventure
door-to-door. After you arrive, we will keep
in touch with you on a regular basis to make sure
you are settled in, comfortable with your
assignment and make plans for your next
adventure.
